FRAME
It is produced in one unique casting, without gasket, assuring its stability through a metal coupling. The support zone is realized with a double groove channel shape so that it is possible to obtain a watertight system. In the external part of the item, it has a specific structure which is able to optimize the cement mortar capacity and the inserting of anchoring items.
COVER
It is square shaped and it ensures stability thanks to external edge height and joint depth. The double groove guarantees a good closing and it is predisposed to the GRP plate. On its surface there are two blind holes useful to insert lifting handles and to facilitate the opening. All the covers are interchangeable. Their surface is antiskid and it is specifically shaped to ensure the complete outflow of the water avoiding the ice formation.
STANDARD EN 124 CLASSIFICATIONS AND PLACES OF EMPLOYMENT
Manhole covers, gullies and gratings can be distinguished into the following classes: A15, B125, C250, D400, E600 ed F900.
Group 3 (Class C 250 minimum): For gullies installed in kerbside channels of the pavement which , extends to 0.5 m in the road and to 0.2 m top on the pavement, when measured from the edge. Group 2 (Class B125 minimum): Footways, pedestrian areas or similar, car parks and drop off points, multi store car parks.
THE APPROPRIATE LOADING CLASS CHOICE IS UP TO THE WORKS DIRECTOR. IN CASE OK DOUBT (SUCH AS PARTICULARLY INTENSE TRAFFIC OR VERY HIGH LOADS AREA), IT WOULD BE APPROPRIATE TO CHOOSE A SUPERIOR LOADING CLASS.
